Network and Security Seminar
The IORC is sponsoring a 2.5 hour network and security seminar on November 13, 2013 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM in DePaul Center room 8014. This event is open to students, alumni, faculty and staff. Owen DeLong, a returning guest and IPv6 Evanglelist from Hurricane Electric will talk about our evolution of IP addressing and how we got to where we are today. John Kristoff will discuss current operational security issues including DDoS attacks. At the conclusion of the seminar, please follow us to a local establishment for food, drinks and off the record chatter.
